Capt. Dan Berg's Aqua Explorers water sports directory is packed full of useful advise and information. Capt. Dan grew up on the South Shore of Long Island. He spent his youth swimming, snorkeling, fishing and waterskiing in Bays off the islands South Shore. Whether fishing for fluke, canoeing to one of the bay islands to go camping or water skiing most of the Capt's days were spent in and around the water, Over the years he has owned all sorts of powerboats ranging from small skiffs, and bay boats, to a 24' Grady White, 34' Webbers Cove and his current custom built 40' Young Brothers charter boat. Dan is a P.A.D.I (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Mr. Berg has authored over a dozen shipwreck and diving related books and was the host and producer of the award winning Dive Wreck Valley TV series. Capt. Dan received the prestigious BTS Diver of the Year Award in 1994. He also was a first year recipient of the SSI Platinum Pro 5000 Award. Mr. Berg holds 6 current US Patents for Diving Equipment design.  Dan's photographs ,video and articles have appeared on Fox 5 News, CNN, CBS, Skin Diver Magazine, plus many more. Capt.
