Is it possible to create a monohull that performs like a multihull?
A boat with enough space below deck to let the crew get out of
the cold or foul weather and to use as an overnight cruiser with
the kids? A boat that offers responsive dinghy-like handling,
yet has the stability of a larger and heavier keel boat? Can
smart design and fine craftsmanship combine to create a sturdy,
reliable, safe and economical boat? We've been asked innumerable
questions like these and our answer is always a resounding
"yes!"
We've researched
all layers of the marketplace asking sailors of varied
backgrounds what they wanted most in a trailerable boat. We
studied all kinds of sailing situations at the dock and on the
water. We've analyzed all types of boats, their hulls, sails and
rigging. The result of all this input is the Ultimate 20. Your
feedback helped us design a trim, efficient, easily trailered
boat. The Ultimate 20 is the perfect blend of size and
simplicity for racing One Design, PHRF or mid week. Standard
features include positive flotation, a patented keel lifting
system and a deck mounted bow sprit for the asymmetrical
spinnaker that keeps the interior safe, dry and uninterrupted.
Fast. Easy to
trailer. Stable. Dry. Low Maintenance. Safe. Easy to sail. These
are only a few words that can only begin to describe what makes
the Ultimate 20 unique. You've got to come aboard for a sail to
understand why we say the Ultimate 20 is A Whole New Sport!
